Who is Jason Morton? For half my life, I was a Sheriff's Deputy, a Shift Sargent, a struggling single father, and felt like I was meant for more.

Now, I'm in the utilities industry, I'm dying from cancer that was so invasive and spread so much that my days are becoming a struggle, and trying to fulfill what dreams I can.

I've enjoyed writing creatively since 1997, and that's largely because of a woman I once knew, and a book I picked up in a Walmart somewhere. It was she that recognized I had an imagination that might be useful, and that I enjoyed stories.

The Conduit is my biggest project as a writer. Ultimately, I would like to finish it and publish it as a novel, but we will see.
