Career criminals and violent criminals aren't drug offenses. Sorry your friend got a bum rap, and I've seen it happen. But when die hard criminals and dangerous felons are let out, then hurt or kill someone again, who's going to tell their families that it's a more fair system this way? My entire point was that it's gone too far from one side to another, and there are signs it's going to continue to spiral until unfortunately a tragedy.
