Catastrophe Was Avoided Earlier This Week After A Massive Carrington Level Event Exploded From The Sun

How lucky we all are to have been missed by the Carrington Event level explosion out of the sun earlier this week. It would have made the week a lot more difficult for billions of people, complicated an already upside-down banking system, and crippled infrastructure.

The Near Miss This Week

On Monday, March 13th, a huge blast from the sun occurred and it could have left the world in a mess. Scientists are saying that this one could have knocked out the Earth’s internet.

These events are caused by massive eruptions of solar particles from the sun, or what’s called coronal mass ejections. This event is being compared to the Carrington Event in 1859, which is the world's largest solar flare hit to date. During that event, telegraphs were disrupted across Europe and North America.

Reports from that event include telegraph operators receiving shocks, auroras reaching as low as California and Texas, and auroras so bright that it made 2:00 a.m. look like daytime.
