Fear The Reaper Ever More
Scary thoughts for your Halloween season.
All around, they walk among us
and most of us never see
On transit systems bus
and subways through the city
A part of the world they’ve always been
but one day, we’ll see them
We don’t know when
but one day, we’ll see them
How long have they been here
something nobody knows
If you see them, don’t show fear
because you know how that goes
Feeders they are,
like locusts, they’ll come
From both near and far
if you allow them to get some
They prey in the night
and they take just a few
Those that can’t fight
first one, then two
Someday we’ll see their true form
and most will run for cover
They’ll wear the blood while it’s warm
and you’ll scream for your mother
The reapers come to us all
and there’s nothing we can do
They’ll come when we all fall
they’ll come for me and you
They’re all around you, I say
and they’re going to reap you too!
