Have You Ever Fallen

To fall is only human and something we can’t avoid,

and we all tend to fall no matter how we try to avoid it,

and it’ll happy before we’re too old,

hopefully, so we can get over it.

If you’ve never fallen where you shouldn’t have,

maybe for someone that you shouldn’t,

remember surviving the fall is something that you could’ve,

even though you thought you wouldn’t.

Have you ever fallen in love with someone you knew was wrong,

your memories haunted forever by memories or a song.

Have you ever fallen in love with someone that you lost,

and wished your heart would stop making you pay that cost?

It happens to us all if we’re lucky enough to know,

and it can happen more than once if you let it be so.

So don’t be walking through life with blinded eyes,

or you’ll be the one alone when thee dies.

Embrace the pain of the loss you fear,

and prepare for a happier year.
