How And Why Liz Cheney Destroyed Her Election Is As Obvious As Donald Trump’s Hair Being A Joke

When you play games with the devil, you’re likely to get burned. Liz Cheney took a vicious beating in the primaries in Wyoming and the world is going to have a field day with excuses, accusations, and more excuses. At the end of the day, there is one person that Liz Cheney needs to look to for why she was on the receiving end of a brutal slaying in the primary.

From the time of her father’s swearing-in as Vice President, Liz Cheney has been on the upwardly mobile path of a politician in Washington. For 22 years, she’s been in D.C. or politics and was a GOP star until recent years.

March 2nd, 2002

Liz Cheney is appointed deputy assistant secretary of state in the Department of State’s Near Eastern Affairs bureau.

2004

After leaving the NEA, Cheney went on to help with George W. Bush’s reelection campaign and participated in “W Stands for Women.” W. Stands for Women was an initiative by the Bush campaign to attract female voters.

February 14th, 2005

Liz Cheney was reappointed to the NEA as principal deputy assistant secretary by Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice.
