I’m afraid you’re part of the problem. Just the title “White” men is why things like racism are prevalent. Morgan Freeman told Chris Wallace the best thing I ever heard, and it’s true. Dealing with race requires we stop calling each other Black or White.

People aspiring to power isn’t the problem. Desantis is widely popular and loved by people in Florida. What is a problem is people can’t grasp that politicians can’t make everyone happy. Trump was good for jobs, security, and economics. That was it. He wasn’t political enough for the rest. Many that hated him needed to toughen up and quit being the stereotypical snow flakes.

As for opportunity, there is more of a cultural divide between the white and black populations than anything. That cultural divide does more to kill opportunities than anything. With as much scholarship opportunities as there are thru the HBCs, everyone that tries can get a good education and work hard and succeed. But, that means no drug felonies, no prison, no jail history. Cultural issues can and do keep the mass incarceration of black people at a high point.

White men aren’t the problem. Tribalism is the problem. America is becoming an increasingly tribalism society. Us vs them ideologies will be the downfall.
