Interesting article and kind of timely for me. I recently saw the effects of someone lying to themselves 28 years ago, and subsequently to everyone else in their circle, and it's come back to haunt that person. Lying can really bury a person in a hole they don't escape with the shovel of truth. If they never pick up that shovel, it continues.
