It’s been a couple of days since President Joe Biden’s son was found guilty on all three counts of falsifying federal documents when purchasing a handgun. To some, this is a shock. To others, it’s a welcome surprise that one of the Biden’s is being held accountable for his crimes.

Less than a week after President Biden told the world in an interview that he wouldn’t pardon Hunter, the president’s son is found guilty. One has to wonder if the president considered his son would be convicted. It is a historic occurrence for a sitting president’s child to be convicted of federal crimes.

When you watch the interview, the president doesn’t miss much of a beat when he responds to the question, telling the world he won’t pardon Hunter. That may be the biggest surprise. But what was going through his mind at the time is still in question.

Joe Biden is all about his family. They are a tightly woven group. His unwavering faith in his son, despite the allegations and the tax scandal, as well as the video of idiotic behavior while suffering from addiction, is respectable. This is not a man who gives up on his family.
