Not sure I take you're meaning "strange". It's simply a story about an exchange I was personally involved with and how it illustrated not to judge a book by its' cover. Describing the two people involved provides context to the readers. Yet, if Idris Elba had been the one that night, I imagine it would have been a very memorable event that I could have written about.
