One Legislator Challenges The Disgusting Markups In Prescription Drugs
Bernie Sanders has some ideas I can’t get on board with. Some of his ideas are what we need our elected officials to tackle. One in particular is very important for more reasons than one.
Bernie Sanders wants to tackle one major issue that needs broad attention. That’s why he wants to meet with the top executives of one company, and hopefully, it will get the ball rolling on Congress to address the underlying issue. This one should aggravate everybody.
Vermont’s popular independent is reportedly considering hearings over drugs like Ozempic, a GLP-1 drug. First, he wants to meet Novo Nordisk A/S’s top Executive, CEO Lars Fruergaard Jergensen. Sanders is again attempting to champion both the people and the country.
The drug Ozempic is one of a class of drugs aimed at helping people deal with issues like obesity. Obesity leads to cardiac health problems, and diabetes, and can lead to an overall decrease in the quality of life. Unfortunately, some of these drugs aren’t covered by insurance companies.
