Take it how you want, it’s open to interpretation.

Would you come to me,

No questions, no fear, and no reservation,

Calmly affable to what is to be,

Unswerving, unyielding, and with no hesitation,

Come with me, your soul already darkened,

Find with me darkness with which you’ll see the light,

Follow me to freely to that which has been harkened,

Yet not by you, fighting against it with all God’s might,

Such a smooth transition, I promise you,

And, I’ll hold your hand as you surrender to its power,

Fear you should not, for it’s a wonderful thing to behold,

Would you freely, unto him, surrender when it’s your hour,

You’ll never again feel alone and so cold.

Should you come, of your own free will,

You should know it’ll enact a great price,

It’s that face of all the dreams you did kill,

Living a life with one foot in fire and one in ice,

Stains on your hands tell you the tale,

Sins of the past darkened you well,

Come with me to him and you shall not fail,

You should come as we hear the ringing of the bell.

You will come with me, one day that’s for certain

It’s inevitable my dear sweet friend,

One day we will pull that curtain,

One day will come, even you have an end.

Forget who you were and your storied past,

One day it will come, the end of the last.
