The Top Reason To Finish The Story

Why do we need to finish a story? We all have our reasons for what we do but this one is the top reason to finish a story, be it in life or being told in front of you.

Why didn’t you finish the story? That’s what life is, after all. Everything we do is a story.

We have to recognize when the story is over. And many stories do come to an early end. The question is, did you finish, or did you walk away? Was there another reason you didn’t finish besides walking away?

There are reasons to finish the story. Perhaps the biggest one of them is a personal favorite. We’ll start there.

The Reason

Fulfillment: When you get to the end of something, there’s the immense satisfaction that you finished what you started. When you pick up a book, you click on a page or start a video, knowing the ending is worthwhile. You’ve seen the creative ideas, gained knowledge, and followed it to the end.

With each chapter of your life that you finish, you have the same satisfaction of knowing you were in it until the end of the story. We are all made of stories, remember? And while some stories prematurely end, we’ve all seen…
