This one is a sticking point. Joe isn't saving our Democracy. He isn't making us look good to the rest of the world either. This is a great buzz word to use, but what about actual democracy, or for that matter, even fairness and equal treatment under the law. After 3 years, I can't say it any clearer.
Democracy wasn't threatened by Trump. If you look at human behavior, Democracy was threatened by humans and their behavior on both sides of the political aisle. Trump was an asshat, but nothing he said in DC would have made reasonably intelligent people lose their minds and think that being asshats at the capital was a good idea.
When Biden won, I prayed for the best. Not my first choice but when you get a leader that promises to "unite" you have to pray that's what they do. Biden has actually caused so much division that many of his key bases voters have turned and are pushing for a republican president to come in and fix things. In chicago, there are more blacks for Trump than ever, and I hear it's that way in New York and Los Angeles. Why? Because Biden and his administration have turned out to be the most divisive in modern history.
