Until inflation is undercontrol our bills are through the roof. Groceries, gas prices, energy like heat and electricity, etc... Then when the recession starts, we see things like the market crash, which causes businesses to cut back, which causes layoffs, joblessness, and an even bigger drain on the economy. Then we have to wait for it to bounce back. Ultimately, the average joes take the brunt of the pain because it'll drain our savings and affect our bottom lines in a more noticeable way. Guys like Elon could lose a billion and it not phase him, people like us lose 50 grand in our 401k and we're screwed.
