What Is The Damage That Keeping Secrets Really Causes From The Perspective Of Someone That’s Has Had To Keep Secrets That He Should Never Have Known To Begin With?

Have you ever kept a secret? Of course, and so have I. When you look back at those pesky little facts that you kept to yourself, did any of them ever haunt you? Do you regret not telling your best friend that her husband made a pass at you? Did someone of importance ever do something reckless or unethical around you? What about that time you kept a trip to the strip bar from your wife? Did you feel guilty?

Secret keeping can serve its’ purpose. Some of those secrets are more impacting on us than others. When life gets complicated, it’s often the secrets that we keep that help to simplify our world once again. What is the cost?
