My “Date” With Trish Stratus

In the early 2000s, the WWE was still in the middle of the attitude era. Trish Stratus had evolved into being one of the top women’s wrestlers and performers in the company's history. She and her main competitor, Lita (Amy Dumas) put on memorable matches and the two were so talented that they were the first women’s main event in Monday Night Raw history.

Trish was a former fitness model before wrestling, had stunning good looks, a presence in the ring and on television, and was one of the most downloaded people on Earth. To say her popularity was unmeasurable is an understatement.

The chance to meet Trish, as well as some of her cohorts from WWE, was a cool opportunity. It happened in Moline Illinois at an autograph signing.
