Where exactly are white men murdering black men and getting away with it? If the authorities are aware of a murder and know who did it they're arresting people. Other than the large inner cities with sky rocketing unsolved murder rates, murder is pretty well investigated and prosecuted around the country. Even those hicks in GA got what was coming to them over that guy that was just a jogger. The number of innocent people in prison is probably higher than people want to believe. I'll grant that, but I don't think in 2023 prosecutors would have a problem with calling someone's action self defense at an assassination attempt. I'm as mistrustful of the system as anyone, and even I can't see prosecutors trying someone defending themselves as a victim of a botched assassination, and I once saw a young guy shoot another unarmed guy 8 times point blank and never go to prison.
